When I knew I was going to photograph Caroline’s Senior Portrait in Duxbury, I was so looking forward to it! I first photographed this curly haired, dimpled face girl in 2004. It was her preschool portrait at the Ridge Hill School in Norwell where I am still taking their school portraits!
To now photograph her at the end of this academic chapter is just nuts. It’s awesome. She’s awesome. Sweet, funny, athletic. Oh so patient with here mom who kept running into the shots on a 90 second cycle wielding a brush to her tresses.
Powder Point Bridge is one of her favorite places. When all the other seniors who have had sessions there are on their way to dinner, when the other photographers are almost back home or already unpacking their gear, I get to work. Yes, I love the golden hour but I love dusk just as much and you’ll see why here and in another senior session I’ll be posting next week too!
Even with the car headlights in the background as they came off the bridge and the pedestrian traffic, it was still perfect. We made it work and got the variety I love create and the seniors love to see. She loved all over images and chose her favorite 20 for her beautiful Heirloom Album that will be around for her grandkids to enjoy!
Caroline, until your next milestone event to be photographed, I’ll be there! (and your mom will be too, with the brush!)
